Why the roof and the solar should be the same contractor

Solar sits on a roof. If those two trades don’t work together, leaks show up later. We inspect the roof first, tell you whether it should be repaired or replaced, then design the array and the battery around that roof.

That is the job most “best solar company” lists skip. They name a solar installer. They don’t name who fixes the tile, the flashing, or the leak under the array.

A prepaid PPA is a separate route — the provider owns the system and applies its own safe-harbored credit, so the benefit reaches you as a lower price rather than a credit on your tax return.
